About the I.D. Project

For Catholic Families, by Catholic Families.

The three of us met when we worked for Innervisions Healthcare, a pro-life crisis pregnancy center. It was the hope of Innervisions to help prevent high risk behaviors in young people through education, which is where The Relationship Program was born. Each of us were educated and certified in Real Essentials through The Center of Relationship Education. While the sessions were effective, they could be even more impactful with mention of our Catholic Faith. Because truth compliments truth, it was seamless for the three of us to weave a Catholic thread through every lesson.

Innervisions decided to put their funding closer to their original mission of women in crisis and relinquished all of The Relationship Program back to the three of us. We decided to form our own business and we called it Imago Dei Ministries. Our first program is the I.D. Project, which is an updated and even more Catholic version of The Relationship Program that was so popular for the previous two years within Catholic Schools in the DSM metro.

Encouraged by the support of several local schools and the Diocese of Des Moines, we look forward to sharing the updated I.D. Project!

Who are we: Catholic, researched-based evangelizers connecting students and their families to their identities in Christ.

Stacy Halbach

Co-Founder and Author of Curriculum

Stacy is a wife to Deacon Matt Halbach and mom to 6 kids with ages ranging from 1st grade to college age, so she understands the importance of proper formation as a whole person. Brianne and Stacy previously worked on her book, Bloom, and decided to continue brainstorming on ways to help young people grow in their relationship with God and a healthy sense of worth.

With Stacy's background in Catholic Family Ministry, she has written much of this program including ways for parents and kids to grow in their faith together.

Brianne Tigges

Co-Founder and Head of Training

Brianne Tigges is married to her high school sweetheart, Brett and is mother to five children. As a convert to Catholicism, she never encountered Theology of the Body until after she was married. She is now on a mission to not only share it with her own family but with yours as well.

While I was working as a school nurse, I was looking for a curriculum to meet our state and diocesan benchmarks of: human growth and development as it relates to Catholic teaching, specifically reproduction, sexually transmitted diseases, and sexuality. It didn't exist. While there are beautiful curriculums with Theology of the Body. There was no curriculum that clearly stated the negative consequences of disordered love. So, I lamented to my friend Stacy and here we are today.

Maria Schwartz

Co-Founder and Primary Educator

Maria became a freshly married woman just this December and is a beloved wife to Andrew. Her love for children and family life inspired her to enter into ministry years ago with the main desire to help walk with women to invite them deeper into whose they are and what we are here for. This passion catapulted her into working with all ages. As time went on, it became evident to her that for generations now, we've been misled or not guided well into actually understanding how God created us to live, in relationship- both as body and soul composites. Yes, there are many great talks out there that teach you why you are a beloved child of God, but nothing that gave tangible direction as to how to live out your identity as a child of God, made in His image and likeness.
